After a stroke your body first repairs those parts of the brain that are not beyond repair. This allows you to regain functionality in the first 6 months. Rehab actually guides you through that process. Certain brain areas might stay without function permanently, thus affecting your day to day life.

Neuroplasticity is the ability of the brain to build new connections throughout life. Our post-rehab training method taps into the neuroplasticity to reprogram your brain. It does this in a similar way the brain wired itself originally at the infancy stage. By developing training methods that are inspired by movement programming of infants we keep seeing remarkable results with clients. 

Let's be clear: It is your brain that has to be reprogrammed. This means: It is your own hard work that leads to results.  Stroke.Fitness supports you with know how: We teach you why certain training methods  will be very effective and why others will not. We show you how to train. We also can train with you one on one in our Tampa facility. Mostly we do this in four hour sessions for a full one or two weeks.

We expect you to go home and continue the training yourself in the months after. For that we have an online program that keeps you at bay. 

If you do not have the resources or possibility to travel to Tampa and train with us, you might want to join the online program. It shows you the same exercises, explanations and tips but in a do it yourself environment.

_{No. We offer both local memberships for those in the Tampa-Orlando area and multi-day (5, 6 or 10 days) intensive training retreats for people traveling from anywhere in the US. Additionally, we offer remote training sessions with our Silver Membership.}
